My story
When I started yoga I was not aware of things inside myself. I was always focused on the outside. I had an eating disorder in my twenties. When I started to solve my problems, yoga helped me to gain confidence, to be proud and to feel what is going on inside, and not to forget to protect my own boundaries. I cannot be more thankful to the yoga practice, yoga litarelly saved my life. From a very insecure and self-neglecting girl, I grew up to a mature, self-known and more confident woman. Yoga still helps me everyday to stay connected and to be this woman.
As a child I have always been very observant of the different ways of thinking that move people within. Once I started my yoga practice I noticed that I was also able to shift my gaze of observation from others within myself. With teaching I would like to give people the same experience – to find tranquility and focus within silence and movement.
Your body changes a lot during a pregnancy, making the need to connect even bigger. Hence my need for more introspection and self-reflection. We as mothers are such an important pillar for our child(ren). The more stable and connected we are with our ‘self’, the more we give this to our little ones. It is important to take good care of ourselves, in order to help our child(ren) feel safe during our pregnancy and after.
I love being surrounded by people and to take care of them. Seeing a person leave my class fully relaxed makes me feel genuinely happy. Online classes are of course a different experience from live lessons. However, during the pregnancy of my second child, I noticed that I did not want to go out that much. Therefore, I chose to create an online platform for other mama’s and mama’s to be.
During my classes, I love you to observe and let you connect with yourself. That is what I acknowledged in my own practice. Over the years I have learned more about myself and what moves me as a person. I want to share my journey with you, and I would love to guide your mama hearts towards that same self-love. So that you can spread that inner peace and love with all the other people surrounding you.
